Water Conservation : DCM Shriram Foundation is actively working on Water Conservation under Environment Sustainability. The program is directly linked with SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation. In keeping with its belief that "Every Drop Counts", in 2017, this project was triggered by a desire to address the water scarcity and weak socio-economic conditions of the adopted villages. The program was conceptualized to ensure availability of sufficient water for irrigation, drinking & livestock, reducing the depletion of groundwater and for raising the socio economic status of the villagers. We have undertaken water conservation activities in Hardoi and Lakhimpur Kheri through activities like MSTs, Anicuts, pond renovation, recharge of dugwells etc.
Tree Plantation : DCM Shriram Foundation is improving the green cover around its manufacturing locations through plantations done over the years. Recently we have also started our journey of creating Miyawaki plantations in the Lakhimpur Kheri district.
